PICTURE THE SCENE : Madame Veuve Point, one of the first female winemakers in Burgundy at the beginning of the 1900s, used to ride on a Penny Farthing bicycle to fetch the various provisions that were brought to the village by the travelling shops of the period, or to go to the neighbouring village.
